For anyone
considering colonic hydrotherapy, I would certainly recommend
visiting Colonic and Health Therapies Asutralia in Buckley Street,
Essendon.
When I first
decided to try colonic irrigation as a means to relieve bloating,
assist in a detoxification program and promote general well being, I
was terrified to say the least. But from the first time that I spoke
to the therapist Natalie on the phone, I knew I would be in capable
hands. Natalie took the time to answer all of my initial questions
over the phone and provide reassurance. She was also able to book me
in for my intitial 3 treatments around a busy Christmas schedule in
her last week of work for the year, which I really appreciated,
When I
arrived at the clinic, I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is
really relaxing, almost like visiting a day spa or health retreat.
The rooms were amazingly clean and it was clear that Natalie
maintains the highest level of hygiene at her clinic, which is
obviously so important.
But the best
part of the clinic is Natalie herself. Despite being incredibly
nervous and fearful about what to expect when I arrived, Natalie
made me feel comfortable immediately. She asked questions as to why
I had chosen colonic hydrotherapy as part of my health program and
made sure she was clear on what I expected to achieve from the
treatments. She gave me a detailed education session about the colon
and the digestive system so I knew exactly how the treatments would
benefit me from a medical perspective. She also gave me a thorough
overview of what would happen throughout the treatment, what I would
be required to do and what I would expect to feel. She was extremely
patient and happy to answer any questions, or to go over things as
many times as she needed to until I was confident and comfortable.
The best part of it was that she made me feel like it wasn’t a big
deal. For a situation that can be extremely nerve wracking or
sensitive for a first time patient, I can honestly say that I didn’t
feel embarrassed at all around Natalie. She is incredibly passionate
and easy to talk to, and its obvious that she really wants all of
her patients to get the most out of their treatments. Although she
is relatively young for a business owner, her experience in colonic
hydrotherapy was obvious! I felt 100% confident going into the
treatment and relieved to feel so comfortable with Nat as my
therapist.
The therapy
itself was much more comfortable than I expected and, overall, very
relaxing. It turns out there was nothing to be scared of at all. I
was given the utmost privacy at all times, but was also aware that I
could Natalie at any time during the treatment for assistance or to
ask questions. The treatment ran so smoothly and, after being given
the education session at the start, I had no need to call Natalie in
during the treatments. However, if I had any need to do so, I
wouldn’t have felt the slightest bit uncomfortable.
After the
treatments I felt great – lighter, happier and free! After years of
bloating, my stomach is the flattest it has ever been. My skin has
cleared up so much and I am getting so many compliments on how good
I look. I have a lot more energy and can honestly say that this is
the best I have felt in years! I have since gone back to the clinic
for subsequent treatments and will definitely continue to do so in
the future.
For anyone
looking for a professional and experienced colonic hydrotherapist to
help them feel great and get the best out of their health program, I
would give the highest recommendation to Natalie of Colonic and
Health Therapies Australia in Buckley Street, Essendon.
Thanks Nat
for making me feel great!
